Heavenly Father,
As the day comes to a close and the night draws near, I come before you to offer this prayer of gratitude and surrender. Thank you for the many blessings you have bestowed upon me today, and for the gift of life itself. As I prepare to rest my head and close my eyes, I ask that you watch over me and keep me safe throughout the night.
Protect me from all harm, both physical and spiritual, and surround me with your love and mercy. Lord, I ask that you forgive me for any sins I may have committed today. Help me to be mindful of your presence in all that I do, and to seek your will in every decision I make.
I pray for those who are struggling tonight, whether they are dealing with sickness, loneliness, or other difficulties. May they feel your love and know that they are not alone. Lord, I surrender all of my worries, fears, and concerns to you.
I trust in your providence and ask that you guide me along the path that leads to eternal life. Finally, I ask that you bless me with a restful and peaceful sleep tonight. May I wake up refreshed and renewed, ready to live out your will and to serve others in your name.
Thank you, Lord, for your love and mercy. May I always be mindful of your presence in my life, and may I seek to love and serve you always. I ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.
