Heavenly Father, We come before you tonight with thankful hearts for the gift of our home and family.
We are so grateful that you have entrusted us with one another and brought us together under one roof.
We pray that you would bless our home and fill every room with your peace, love and joy. May we feel your presence in this place.
Shine your light into every corner, and let the praises of your people ring from these walls.
Make our home a sanctuary where you are truly honored. Bless each member of our family, from the youngest to the oldest.
Guide us as parents to raise our children in the ways of truth and righteousness. Pour out your wisdom and grace on each one.
Strengthen the bonds of love between us all. Grant us patience, kindness and self-control in how we relate to one another.
Help us speak words that build each other up. Forgive us for any harsh words or attitudes. Prompt us to seek reconciliation when needed.
Bless our ability to provide for one another's needs, both materially and emotionally. Bless our marriage and other close relationships in our home. Strengthen the bonds between us.
May our love for one another reflect Your perfect love. Help us honor one another as You have called us to.
Remind us to put the needs of our spouse and loved ones before our own desires. Keep our home protected from all harm and danger.
Grant us health, provision and safety. Pour out your spiritual blessings on us in abundance. Fill our home with truth, wisdom and righteousness.
Let your joy and delight be our strength. Teach us to put our trust in you above all things. Remind us that our true home is in heaven with you and our material possessions are nothing compared to your eternal promises.
Help us loosen our grip on the things of this world. Let your peace reign in our hearts, our minds, and this place tonight as we rest in the safety of your loving arms.
Fill us with hope as we look to the future you have planned. And give us gratitude for the blessings of today - for each person under this roof, for our provision and health, for any act of kindness shown or received.
Bless our times together and our times apart. Bless our going out and our coming in, from this time forth and forevermore.
